The best stretch for a football trip in 2027 runs from 22 May to 5 June, with five big finals in two weeks: the FA Cup at Wembley, the Europa League in Frankfurt, the DFB-Pokal in Berlin, the Conference League in Istanbul and the Champions League in Madrid. Before that come the Copa del Rey final in Seville on 24 April, the north London derby listed for 1 May and El Clásico at the Bernabéu on the weekend of 8-9 May. This calendar lists the 2027 soccer dates in the places on our route, with the status of each date, because a final fixed by its organiser and a league match on a provisional weekend need very different booking plans.
Official means the organiser's own page states the date. Announced means a published fixture list or a credible report gives it, and we name the source. Matchday weekend means the league has published a window, and the exact day comes later. League kick-offs move for TV, so never book a non-refundable flight on a nominal league date.
Status was checked in October 2026. Organisers can still change dates, so confirm yours before you pay for anything you cannot cancel.

UEFA Under-21 Euro, Tirana. UEFA gives the dates as 16 June to 3 July 2027, shared by Albania and Serbia. In Albania the venues are Arena Kombëtare and Arena e Demave in Tirana, plus Elbasan Arena and Loro Boriçi Stadium in Shkodër. The Albanian FA says the final will be at Arena Kombëtare, but UEFA's tournament page does not state the final venue and older reports placed it in Belgrade. The draw is on 26 November 2026 and each host keeps its eight teams until the final, so wait for the draw before choosing a base. We have no article for it yet; day trips from Tirana and the Tirana airport guide cover the city side.
Nations League Finals. Semi-finals on 9 and 10 June and the final on 13 June come from Wikipedia, and we could not confirm them on a UEFA page. No host is decided. Spain's federation has confirmed a bid with the Bernabéu proposed for the final. If Spain gets it, Madrid has two major June events.
A-League Men Grand Final. The A-Leagues give the weekend of 3-6 June 2027 officially, but the host is only known during the finals, so it does not suit a planned trip.
• Istanbul derbies. The Süper Lig runs to 23 May 2027 and the 2027 derbies are not fixed to calendar dates in anything we could read. Check tff.org.
• J.League, Tokyo. The season ends on 5-6 June 2027, but the February to June fixtures are due in early December 2026.
• Camp Nou. The league Clásico at Camp Nou was scheduled for October 2026, so there is none in league play in 2027. A cup or Champions League meeting cannot be scheduled in advance.
• The Klassiker. The 2027 Bayern v Dortmund match is in Dortmund, matchday 25, the first weekend of March.
• Budapest. We found no 2027 dates for the Ferencváros v Újpest derby or the Hungarian Cup final.
Most of the big finals go largely to the two clubs' members. At the 2026 FA Cup final, Copa del Rey final and DFB-Pokal final, tickets went mainly through the finalists, and we found no general-public sale for the men's FA Cup final or a realistic neutral route to the Copa del Rey final.
UEFA finals are the exception: in 2026 UEFA ran a public lottery on UEFA.com/tickets, up to 2 tickets per buyer. The 2027 process is not published yet.
The Women's FA Cup final is the easiest big final for a visitor. In 2026 it was on general sale, from £15 to £45 (≈ $20–60). If you want a day at Wembley without a membership, start there.
For league football, the Premier League guide and Bayern guide explain why memberships and official club channels matter. UEFA treats tickets bought outside its channels as invalid, and in England and Wales unauthorised resale of tickets for designated football matches is a criminal offence.
22 May to 5 June 2027, when the FA Cup, Europa League, DFB-Pokal, Conference League and Champions League finals all fall within two weeks, in London, Frankfurt, Berlin, Istanbul and Madrid.
Real Madrid v Barcelona at the Bernabéu is on the weekend of 8-9 May 2027, as reported by BeSoccer and Fox Deportes. The exact day had not been set when we checked, and there is no league Clásico at Camp Nou in 2027.
