Where should I stay for the 2027 Conference League final in Istanbul?

The final: date, venue and kick-off

UEFA states Wednesday 2 June 2027 at Beşiktaş Stadium. Some sites list 26 May, but UEFA's page is the source to trust. The ground is also called Beşiktaş Park, and locally Tüpraş Stadyumu. UEFA gives a capacity of about 40,000.

No 2027 kick-off is published. The 2026 Europa League final at this stadium kicked off at 22:00 local time, and with extra time and penalties a late start like that would run past 00:30. Plan for a late finish until UEFA says otherwise.

The same stadium hosted a UEFA final in 2026, when each finalist received roughly 11,000 to 12,000 seats.

Tickets: the 2026 model, as a guide only

UEFA has no 2027 sale details or prices yet; its help page says information will come on UEFA.com/tickets. Goal expects a window in mid-March 2027, which is unconfirmed. In 2026 the application window was 16 to 20 March.

In 2026, general public tickets were sold by lottery only through UEFA.com/tickets, with a maximum of 2 per buyer.

2026 Conference League final prices (Leipzig): Fans First €25 (≈ $28), Category 3 €45 (≈ $50), Category 2 €140 (≈ $156), Category 1 €190 (≈ $212). 2026 Europa League final prices (this stadium): Fans First €40 (≈ $45), Category 3 €65 (≈ $73), Category 2 €160 (≈ $179), Category 1 €240 (≈ $268). Accessibility tickets were sold at the lowest category price, with a free companion ticket on request. None of these are 2027 prices.

In 2026, tickets for the men's finals were mobile only and non-transferable, and winners had to register the phone they would use to enter. Unused tickets could go back at face value on UEFA's own resale platform, open only to unsuccessful lottery applicants.

Avoid reseller listings. Under UEFA's terms, tickets bought outside these channels are invalid and holders may be refused entry. Goal reported 2026 Europa League final listings of roughly £100 to £650 (≈ $134–870). That money buys a ticket the gate can reject.

Getting to the stadium

T1 tram to Kabataş, then about a 5-minute walk, according to one guide.

M2 metro to Taksim, then a walk downhill of about 10 minutes according to Football Ground Guide, or 15 according to another guide. The F1 funicular links Taksim and Kabataş and avoids the steepest part.

Ferries run between Eminönü, Kabataş and Beşiktaş, and are expected to be very busy on match day. Road closures make cars and taxis slow near Dolmabahçe.

In 2026 the fan meeting point was reported as Gezi Park in Taksim, with accessible shuttles to the stadium and gates opening at 19:00 for a 22:00 kick-off. UEFA's page would not load for us, so this comes from a search summary. UEFA's 2027 event guide will set its own arrangements.

Where to stay, ranked by time to the stadium

This order is our own judgement, based on time to the stadium. Unless a source is named, the times are our rough estimates, so check a journey planner.

1. Gümüşsuyu and Kabataş. Roughly 5 to 15 minutes on foot, with the closest hotels and the T1 and F1 at the door. The catch: steep streets, few rooms, and the highest premiums in final week.

2. Beşiktaş Çarşı. Roughly 10 to 15 minutes on foot, with the best local bars and food, plus ferries. The catch: it is hilly, loud on match night and full of fans.

3. Taksim. A 10 to 15 minute walk, or the F1. It has the direct M2 link towards the airport and was the 2026 fan meeting point. The catch: crowds, and a steep walk back up after midnight.

4. Karaköy and Galata. Roughly 15 to 20 minutes via the T1 to Kabataş, and a better area for the evening. The catch: the T1 will be packed, and we could not verify late running.

5. Kadıköy, on the Asian side. Roughly 25 to 35 minutes by ferry, with excellent food. The catch: a late kick-off with extra time may miss the last ferry, so check it first.

Late-night and match-week catches

• Getting back. We could not verify last-service times for the metro or ferries. Istanbul has extended services for matches before, but check metro.istanbul and Şehir Hatları for 2027.

• Plan to walk. After a late finish, a base you can walk to beats any transport plan.

• Booking. Go refundable until the finalists are known and UEFA has published kick-off and ticket details.
